I will post this to the members of the Oversight Committee.
My idea is to ask the Oversight Committee to review licensing complaints for obvious instances of patient neglect.
This can serve two benefits. Identify the point where the patient gets shoved through the cracks AND identify the worst areas of neglect. The information gathered by our complaints can be used by the Oversight Committee to make improvements. It may be too late for some of you to see the positive change from contributing our stories could have on the way things are done. But these people who disregarded our beggings for help were paid for in our time and our money. And Insurance money.
Hmmmm, I need to send this to the insurance companies! If they could go back and collect some money for services they paid for on behalf of the patient!?!
