I’m sitting at my keyboard. In my house. Got a computer and two new pair (pairs?) of tennis shoes yesterday. Stoked. Walked this morning. Computering now. I plan to tinker in the SoloLearn app to re-ground myself. I love the ‘Learn to Code With Me’ Podcast with Lawrence Bradford. She has some other suggestions that I plan to follow after I graduate from the regrouping stage. The years of being outside the loop and stuck at home have left me low on supplies and a little timid. Which seems to be balanced with a little bit of rage that expresses itself mostly in a fast walk away from whatever situation induced the aggravation. Looking forward to staring a problem in the face and handling it.
Enjoying rebuilding. I’d totally worn out my last pair of tennis shoes. The indention in the sole of the shoe, the memory foam, in my old Sketchers doesn’t look like it will ever forget me. But I’ve walked in them for maybe five years! Okay, I’ll give myself a break on that. I insist. And there’s the backbone.
I am aware that some sentences are ending in prepositions. I’ll see if that continues to bother me as time goes on.
Do I smell cinnamon? Not sure when I’m experiencing a real scent or something generated by my situation. Or could there be a Saint or spirit hovering about who might be a fan of cinnamon!? So when I typed that last bit, the radio stopped playing. Lightly creepy. My favorite level of creepy.
Anyway, I think I can be more wordy here. My fingers just kind of comfortably express myself.
We’ll see. Either way nice to do this at home and not at the library. Or on my phone. Now that I’m easily typing, I’m wondering how I did so much on my phone. Of course I may need to look back at it. I may not have done that much.
And I love the library. I just am not a fan of coding there. I’m really a fan of doing this at my house I think. The radio is on. Music I’m not familiar with so I won’t be tempted to sing along. Or ponder Kenny Chesney.
In addition to Solo Learn, I have an ALT Codes Reference Sheet that I’ve had hanging to learn since I graduated. Going to learn that too so that I’m less dependent on the mouse.
